Connect Claude or Cursor
Step-by-step MCP setup for BYTtrade AI in Claude and Cursor
One OAuth login — then 25+ BYTtrade tools work in Claude or Cursor.
You need an active BYTtrade account before connecting.
In Claude
- Open claude.ai → Settings → Connectors.
- Find BYTtrade in the catalog, or add the MCP server manually.
- Click Connect, choose scope (read-only or trading), and sign in to BYTtrade.
- Ask Claude about markets, bots, portfolio — or request a live order (only if trading scope is enabled).
In Cursor
- Open Cursor → Settings → MCP.
- Add the BYTtrade MCP server.
- Sign in to BYTtrade and confirm the access scope.
- Use the agent for analysis and trading directly in the IDE.
Scope checklist

| Read-only | Learning, portfolio reviews, market research — no order placement |
| Trading | You explicitly want Claude/Cursor to open or close positions under your plan limits |
Start with read-only + demo exchange keys. Enable trading only after you understand limits and security.
After connect
- Check MCP usage / plan limits in the account or via AI (
get_mcp_usage-style tools). - Link Telegram in BYTtrade settings if you want mobile alerts / approve buttons.
- Prefer Telegram or chat confirmation for large or live trades.
